Emma Tweeted about a chance to win 100 tickets to the Deathly hallows premiere (Only UK and Ireland Residents can participate) at the HP UK Facebook page but everyone else should check it out too because theres a new video of Emma with her new short hair due talking about the contest.
The 20-year-old actress posted on her official Facebook, "Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago... Feels incredible. I love it. I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x"

She’s not Hermione anymore. Emma Watson — the 20-year-old actress who has portrayed Harry Potter’s studious BFF, Hermione Granger, in six films over the past decade — has shorn off her character’s long tresses in favor of a short pixie haircut. “Oh my God, it was the most liberating thing!” she tells EW.com. “The stylist just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out. It felt amazing. I love it.” The chic, gamine cut, created by New York stylist Rodney Cutler of Cutler Salon and seen in this exclusive Polaroid from EW’s upcoming Fall Movie Preview issue, might not seem like a huge deal to most 20-year-olds. But Watson has had to sport essentially the same hairstyle for ten years while she played Hermione. “I missed all that experimentation that most teenagers go through,” she says. “I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 16, so as soon as I had the chance I was like, ‘Right. This is it.’” Watson, who’s about to enter her sophomore year at Brown University, finished shooting the final two Potter movies this summer — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will be released Nov. 19, 2010, and Part 2 next summer, on July 15

Emma Watson Takes a Short Cut

Since signing on as a Burberry model, sharing her designer aspirations, and rocking out in music videos with her rumored boyfriend, George Craig, Emma Watson has been stepping up her edgy wardrobe. On Thursday, she took her new look a step further when she showed off a hip new hairstyle.
The "Harry Potter" favorite broke the news herself on her Twitter and Facebook page. "Yes, I cut my hair off a few days ago! I love it -- feels incredible," she wrote. "Hope you like it! x."
The fan reactions range from "U look amazing," to Winona Ryder comparisons -- and, of course, a mild outcry from those who were attached to Watson's Hermione-style long locks.
But at 20, the British star seems to be letting go of that image and moving on from the role she stepped into before she was 10 years old (the saga's next-to-the last film comes out this November). And as with most breakups, looks like the inevitable first thing to go is the hair.

Emma Watson has finally joined the ranks of Twitter, creating her own account on yesterday. She wrote in her first tweet:
" Hi everyone, this is the real me! I won’t be able to tweet often but I just wanted to say hello. Have a great summer, love Emma x "
The account, "@EmWatson" opens in new window, is not "verified" by Twitter itself yet, but the creator of Watson's official web site, Rob Noble, confirmed it is Emma by retweetingopens in new window her message and respondingopens in new window to a direct question about it.
Emma now joins other Potter cast members Tom Felton, Chris Rankin, James and Oliver Phelps, Matthew Lewis and Warwick Davis, who are all regular users of the social networking service.
